✧ What is a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®)?

Licensed by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, CFP® must complete an advanced college-level course of study addressing financial planning subject areas, including insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning, and estate planning. In addition, they must pass the comprehensive CFP® certification examination and obtain at least three years of full-time financial planning-related experience. To maintain the designation, CFP®, the certificant must complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years, including a course on ethics.

✧ What is an FPQP™?

The FPQP™ designation is for those who have no financial planning experience and want to start building that foundation. The program covers the main facets in personal financial planning with a focus on practical application, such as estate, tax, retirement, insurance, and investments.

✧ Do you have a minimum account size?

At Arista Advisory Group, LLC, minimum account size is negotiable. When someone is introduced to us, we appreciate that referral and treat each individual with an equal level of service and respect, regardless of account size.

✧ Can I use just one of your services?

Our values-centered services are designed to help you achieve balance in your life. Because we work with you to deliver a customized approach that is aligned with your personal values and supports your environmental and social beliefs, our recommendations typically span all areas of your finances. While the majority of our clients seek our comprehensive services, when appropriate, we are able to offer only those services you feel will address your needs.

✧ What is your fee structure?

At Arista Advisory Group, LLC, our asset management compensation is 100% transparent, so you know exactly what we make and the value we provide. We charge a competitive asset under management (AUM) annual fee that is computed on the value of the assets we manage. In certain circumstances, a financial planning fee may be charged.

✧ What is a "fee-only" planner?

A fee-only planner is someone who, in all circumstances, is compensated solely by the client, with neither the advisor nor any related party receiving compensation that is contingent on the purchase or sale of a financial product. A fee-only planner does not receive commissions, rebates, awards, finder’s fees, bonuses, or any form of compensation from others as a result of a client’s implementation of his or her planning recommendations.

As a fee only registered investment advisor, we adhere to a strict fiduciary standard that always puts your interests first. Our only loyalty is to your success, and your financial plan and investments.

✧ How do I know my money is safe?

Our firm works directly with independent third-party regulated custodians, including Charles Schwab. You can establish 24/7 access and visibility to your Schwab accounts via an online client portal. Your funds will never be comingled with any other investments.
